Of course to get to the top, Google offers services as Pay Per Click where you can nominate the amount to pay per week or month.

To help your website get amongst the ranking of the search engines without paying fees:

• - Optimise your title bar to include your company name, categories of what your company does, suburb and country.
• - eg.Visually Unique: Design | Media | Print | Web – Graphic Design, Digital Advertising, Multimedia, Interactive Websites, Sydney Australia
• - Submit your URL to google and the other search engines
• - Submit your sitemap.xml to google
• - Use keywords that are common to your site as google is now content driven. Make sure the keywords you use relate to the page that is being viewed. Also keep your keywords to around 50 – 100 words maximum.
• - Make sure keywords are created for everypage.
• - Get involved with Social media and link your website to the messages, videos or advertising you place on these sites. Facebook and Twitter are the most effective, but also get involved with Google+ as it will do a search for items within the Google Database.
• - Add a blog to your site and keep it updated. Add video to your homepage, add videos to your site.
• - Get your links into your realm of business. Target at least 20 groups per week.
• - Make sure you have google analytics incorporated into your site.

As most of you know or didn’t know, I have been involved in the world of TV, Commercials and Film for nearly a decade. I have been grateful to my agents who have managed to get me jobs on some amazing sets. Eventhough I was an extra, to date my time on the set of STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH would have to be my greatest moment. Eventhough my character was not used, I came face to face with all the actors. George Lucas had a policy that no one was to directly talk to the actors, unless they started the conversation first.  During lunch, we all sat in the same tent and seriously all the actors were there sitting not far from me. George was on the opposite table to me, Hayden Christian about 3 seats away, Jimmy Smits on another table, Natalie Portman another. It was sort of surreal to be mixing it with the stars.

And then there were those moments, where I was involved in a fair few TV Commercials, the highlight to date being the BAZ LUHMAN Channel Commercial featuring Nicole Kidman. I was one of the New York Police Officers. She was standing about 3 feet from me, same ruled applied, you were not allowed to talk to the actress, but you couldn’t help but stare. Once again, it all seemed so surreal.
